Frequently asked

Frequently asked questions.

The questions Indian students and parents ask first — answered straight, no marketing.

Is ArrivoBuddy an admission agent or consultancy?
No. We don’t file applications, we don’t represent you to universities, and we don’t collect documents. We’re an information and planning platform. You apply directly to universities, Universitaly, and VFS — the way the process is designed to work.
Do you take commissions from universities?
No. No Italian university pays us per student. This is the single most important thing to know about ArrivoBuddy, because it’s the reason our shortlists aren’t bent toward who pays more. Our revenue comes only from the optional one-time Premium purchase.
Will you guarantee admission, scholarship, or visa?
No. Anyone who guarantees those things is not being honest with you. We help you prepare better — accurate timelines, correct documents, realistic shortlists. The decisions stay with the universities, the DSU offices, and the Italian consulate.
Will you file my visa application or contact VFS for me?
No. You book your own VFS appointment, prepare your own documents (we tell you which), and attend your own DOV. We link to official sources at every step so you always verify before you act.
What does Premium actually add?
The full 30-day Italian course, deeper cost modelling, unlimited saved universities with side-by-side compare, a timeline tied to your intake date, and PDF export. Premium is ₹4,999 one-time · lifetime · no auto-renew. The free tier is genuinely enough to plan and finish your move.
How is my data stored? Do I have to upload my passport?
You never upload sensitive documents to ArrivoBuddy. Your saved plan is your shortlist, your cost estimate, and your checklist progress — that’s it. You can export everything as a PDF and delete your account from settings.
