Refund Policy

If Premium is not working for you, ask for your money back.

ArrivoBuddy Premium is a one-time purchase. Our refund policy is written so you can read it once and not worry about it again.

Summary

You can request a full refund within 7 calendar days of buying ArrivoBuddy Premium, provided you have not consumed more than 30% of paid content. Consumption is tracked in two ways:

  1. Italian lesson sub-lessons (Days 4–30) you have marked as complete. Marking a sub-lesson as complete is a deliberate action you take by clicking the “Mark complete & continue” button at the end of each sub-lesson. This action is required to advance to the next sub-lesson.
  2. Files you have downloaded from the Premium library (cheat sheets, document templates, phrase sheets, deeper guides).

When you mark a sub-lesson complete, you confirm that you have worked through it. ArrivoBuddy treats that mark as your explicit choice. The same applies to each download you initiate.

You can check your refund eligibility at any time on the Premium Access page during the 7-day refund window. We process the refund through Razorpay back to your original payment method, in Indian rupees.

When you can get a refund

  • You request a refund within 7 calendar days of your purchase.
  • Your combined consumption (marked sub-lessons + downloaded files) is below 30% of the total paid content (currently 63 of 210 paid content units).
  • Premium did not deliver what was promised on the Premium page at the time you bought it.

When you cannot

  • You have marked more than 30% of paid sub-lessons as complete, or downloaded more than 30% of paid files, or any combination that adds up to 30% or more.
  • Your university did not admit you, your visa was refused, or your scholarship was not granted. ArrivoBuddy never promises these outcomes — see the Disclaimer.
  • You change your mind after substantially using the paid material.
  • You violate the Terms of Use.

Grievance Officer

For unresolved complaints under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules 2020, contact our Grievance Officer at grievance@arrivobuddy.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve within 30 days.

How to request a refund

Email refunds@arrivobuddy.com from the email address you used to register, with:

  • Your full name and the date of purchase.
  • The Razorpay payment ID (we will help you find this if needed).
  • One sentence on why you are asking. You do not have to justify it within the 7-day window.

How long it takes

We will respond within 3 business days. If your request is approved, the refund is initiated through Razorpay and typically reflects in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Free service

The free parts of ArrivoBuddy — the homepage, the 3-day Italian starter, the move-checklist preview, the cost view — remain free. Nothing in this refund policy affects your access to the free service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we launch Premium and once we have learned how customers actually use the product. The “Last reviewed” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Refund requests are evaluated under the policy that was published at the time of your purchase.
